Rick Mezey has served Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit as Organist since August of 2001 and as Organist & Choirmaster since August of 2004. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from the Eastman School of Music in 1973 and his Master's Degree in Music Education from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 1993. Prior to joining the staff at LCHS Rick was a Professor of Music at Colorado Christian University for twelve years and an elementary and middle school music teacher with Denver Christian Schools for ten.

Rick is married to Kelly Mezey, who is the Family Care Coordinator for Olinger/Chapel Hill Mortuary and Cemetery. They have seven children and eight grandchildren. Rick and Kelly enjoy playing Scrabble and Jeopardy and take special delight in watching their grandchildren blossom.
