Pastor Christian Nisonger was born in Gunnison, Utah and grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. After graduating from Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, Iowa he accepted the call to serve the people of Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit on December 9th, 2009 following his ordination in Salt Lake City on December 4th of the same year. He graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Arts in interpersonal communication, served an internship in Oconto, Wisconsin and also serves as an Army Reserve Chaplain Candidate.

Pastor Christian is married to Kristin (Thralls) Nisonger and they have two daughters, Hannah and Sarah. He spends most of his free time with his family playing, in fellowship, being outside, walking, bicycling, hiking, snowsports and just about any other outdoor activity.
